The F-22 is probably the best known fighter-jet in the world and its fame and reliability means that it comes at a pretty high price tag. At just over $211 million it’s the most expensive fighter jet in the world, but that hasn’t put the US army off – they have a fleet of 188 F-22s at a total cost of $79.2 billion.
